Let's talk about the speedy changes in technology these days. I stumbled upon a job ad for a driver that required knowledge of the MS Office Suite, and it got me thinking. These days, most jobs expect you have the knowledge of office suite tools.

Back in the day, if you could navigate Microsoft Word and Excel, you felt like a tech genius. But things are changing fast, like a quick flash of light.

Here's the interesting part: I believe that soon, knowing a programming language might become the norm. Every job ad might ask you to have a programming language as a basic skill, even in less technical jobs. So, programming is becoming the new must-have skill, like the Office suite.

As a Data Analyst, I've found Python (the versatile programming language) to be a favorite for anyone wanting a tech career, even in Analytics.

If you're thinking about transitioning to Tech, regardless of the field, start by understanding the basics of data analytics, because the programming language python is one of the tools used by a data analyst. It is not news that almost every Tech field has a bit of data in it. Are you building an AI tool? You'll need to gather data, feed the model with the data to understand patterns. A product manager? You'll use data to position your product and convince customers why your product stands out. As a software engineer, a bit of analytics can help you communicate and collaborate with data analysts and scientists when developing software. The list goes on!

What point am I trying to make? Keep adapting and keep learning to stay competitive. As life changes, change with it.
